Hi! I'm Luke Bird, a Junior at The University of Alabama working toward a dual degree in Computer Science and Cybersecurity. I’m passionate about understanding how technology works behind the screen and equally passionate about keeping it safe. While completing my undergraduate coursework I am also working on a Masters of Business Administration.
Through my coursework and hands-on projects, I’ve gained experience in areas like Software Development, Database Systems, and Network Security. I enjoy tackling challenges that require both analytical thinking and creativity, whether it’s writing clean, efficient code or identifying vulnerabilities in a system.
Outside of class, I’ve completed an internship where I had the opportunity to apply what I’ve learned in real-world environments and expand my technical and professional skills.
When I’m not studying or coding, you can usually find me playing video games, reading anything i can get my hands on (especially fantasy books), and working out in the gym.
I’m currently seeking internships or entry level opportunities in software engineering, cyber security, or IT where I can contribute to secure, innovative solutions and continue learning from experienced professionals.
